No breakthrough in US-China commerce talks

US and Chinese language officers reached no breakthrough in talks to finish their commerce battle on Thursday night time, however vowed to maintain negotiating at the same time as American tariffs on $200bn of Chinese language imports had been set to rise from 10 per cent to 25 per cent inside hours. 

On the finish of a working dinner in Washington, Robert Lighthizer, the US commerce consultant, and Liu He, China’s vice-premier, agreed to reconvene for a brand new session of negotiations on Friday.
